Crime Stoppers of Grey Bruce and the Grey County O.P.P. are asking for the public’s assistance in solving the following unsolved break-enter and theft.

 

On Saturday August 31, 2002 between the hours of 10:50 p.m. and 11:15 p.m. unknown culprits forcibly entered the Markdale Golf and Country Club on Edith Street in the Village of Markdale.  The culprits rummaged throughout the clubhouse and stole approximately $2,000.00 in cash and as well stole a quantity of Titlist  ball caps.

 

Police suspect that an older mid-sized dark two-door vehicle similar to an Oldsmobile Omega or a Chevrolet  Nova may have been used by the suspects during the break-in.
