Crime Stoppers of Grey Bruce and the Grey County O.P.P. are asking for the public’s assistance in solving the following theft.

 

Sometime between the 20th and 23rd of April 2002, culprits entered the property of a private residence on Big Rock Road in Township of Georgian Bluffs.

 

Thieves then forcibly entered through the rear door of the residence where they rummaged throughout the rooms.

 

The culprits were able to locate a gun locker from which they removed a number of rifles and shotguns. Most of the guns were either Remington or Ruger makes.

Other stolen items included a Berretta crossbow, hunting knives and ammunition.

 

As a matter of public safety the police are of course concerned about the location of the stolen weapons.
