Crime Stoppers of Grey Bruce and the South Bruce OPP are asking the public for help in solving the following break enter and theft in the Town of Walkerton.

  

On the 7^th of February 2002 at approximately 1:20 a.m. culprits forcibly entered the rear door of the Towne Convenience Store on Durham Street East in Walkerton.  Once inside of the store the culprits then filled garbage bags full of stolen items that included 498 cartons of cigarettes, cash, assorted scratch and win tickets, razor blades, compact discs, chocolate bars and toques and headbands.  The thieves then exited the store through he same rear door that they entered.  Police suspect that as many as four people may have been involved in the theft and they may come from the London area.
