Crime Stoppers of Grey Bruce and the Grey County OPP are asking for the public’s assistance in solving the following assault.

 

On the 8^th of November 2003 at approximately 12:30 p.m. a female driver in a small purple car was parked on the north side of Hwy #21 west of Springmount.  A male suspect was parked behind her in his small black vehicle which had an object hanging from the rear view mirror.  The suspect approached the victim while she sat in her car and when she rolled down her window he made a comment of a sexual nature and grabbed her by the throat.  The victim was able to free herself and a made a U-turn into Owen Sound.  The direction of travel of the suspect is unknown.  The suspect is described as a white male, 5’10”, unshaven, average build and short brown hair.  He was wearing a blue ball cap with a logo and a navy jacket with a zippered front.
