Crime Stoppers of Grey Bruce and the Grey County OPP are asking for the public’s assistance in solving the following break, enter theft of guns in Egremont Twp.

 

On the 15^th of March 2003 police were called to a break enter and theft that occurred on the 6^th Concession of Egremont just outside of Mount Forest.  The residence was unoccupied at the time as the owners were vacationing.  The unknown culprit(s) entered the residence and completely ransacked the house.  A gun locker storage area was opened and three guns were removed.

The guns are described as follows:

 

Morimer shotgun, 10 gauge, hinge break.

Winchester Sportsman 74 Auto, semi-auto rifle action, 3006. serial # 8267339

Beretta semi-auto shotgun, model A390ST, serial # 102D4C92

 

Police suspect that the theft may have occurred a few days prior to their arrival.
