Crime Stoppers of Grey Bruce and the South Bruce OPP are asking for the public’s assistance in solving the following theft in Brant Township.

 

Sometime overnight between February 18^th and 19^th 2003 thieves entered the business property of Bruce Tractor and Lawn Care on County Road #3, Brant Township just west of Walkerton.  The culprits hooked onto a black 16’ homemade trailer with three ramps, licence #A4322A, and then proceeded to the rear of the building on the north side and loaded two brand new lawn tractors.

Both lawn tractors were John Deere 2002 models, green and yellow in color.  One was a model 495 diesel and the other was a model 485 gas powered.  Total value of the thefts was $23,000.00.
