Crime Stoppers of Grey Bruce and the Grey County OPP are asking for the public’s assistance in solving the following break and enter.

 

Sometime overnight on July 9^th - 10^th 2003 culprits forcibly entered the Tim-Br Mart Building Centre located on Collingwood Street in the Village of Flesherton.

Once inside, the culprit(s) utilized both hand and power tools stocked by the store in an unsuccessful bid to enter the stores’ safe.  The office was then trashed, possibly in frustration by their inability to penetrate the safe.  Degreaser and heavy-duty cleaner products were sprayed on electronic equipment, walls, desks, leather chairs and the floor.  Files were removed from cabinets and computers were smashed.

 

There is no indication that anything of value was taken however the manager estimated the damage at $15,000.00, not including lost sales.
