Crime Stoppers of Grey Bruce and the Grey County OPP are asking for the public’s assistance in solving the following act of arson.

 

On October 2^nd 2004 at approximately 5:30 p.m. the Dundalk Fire Department responded to a fire at the Alumi-Bunk Plant on 5 Keppel Street in the Village of Dundalk.  The plant stores a number of used bunks, (truck "sleepers"), in the yard that have been the target of numerous acts of mischief over the years.  On this occasion it is believed that a fire was intentionally started in a bunk.  The fire eventually spread to 19 other bunks due to the flammable nature of the material and the strong westerly winds.
