Crime Stoppers of Grey Bruce and the Grey County OPP are asking for your assistance in solving the following break, enter, and theft that occurred near the Village of Markdale.

 

Markdale Tractor Sales located on Highway #10 south of Markdale was victimized sometime during the evening of July 5, 2005 when thieves entered a closed compound in a pickup truck and removed five brand new All Terrain Vehicles.  The thieves drove the A.T.V.s southbound from the dealership on an old railway bed where police were able to recover two of the A.T.V.s approximately 1.5 km from the scene.  Police suspect that the remaining three A.T.V.s were driven along the rail line to the Dundalk area.

 

The three outstanding machines are all 2005 4x4 models, bright yellow in colour.  Two are 350cc models and one is a 500cc model.
