Crime Stoppers of Grey Bruce and the Saugeen Shores Police Service are asking for your assistance in solving a break, enter, and theft that occurred in Port Elgin.

 

During the early morning hours of May 9, 2005 a culprit forcibly entered the McDonalds Restaurant located on Goderich Street in Port Elgin.

 

The perpetrators smashed a window in order to gain access.  Once inside they made attempts to enter the store's safe, however their efforts were unsuccessful.  They then proceeded to open refrigerators and toss eggs throughout the store.  It appears that only a small amount of change was stolen from the restaurant.
