Crime Stoppers of Grey Bruce and the Owen Sound Police Service are asking for the public’s assistance in solving the following car theft.

The Owen Sound Police Service is requesting the assistance of the public in regard to a vehicle stolen in Owen Sound on January 7, 2006. The vehicle was stolen sometime during the morning hours from a parking lot in the 1000 block of Second Avenue East. The vehicle was then abandoned at the rear of a church on 4^th Avenue East, approximately 2 ½ blocks away. The vehicle was found heavily damaged on the driver’s side. Police recovered the vehicle on January 8^th. Police are wishing to speak to anyone who observed this vehicle in a collision or persons operating it on January 7^th.

The vehicle Involved is a 1991 Grey Buick LeSabre with heavy damage on the driver’s side.
