Crime Stoppers of Grey Bruce and the West Grey Police Service are asking for the public’s assistance in solving the following theft.

On February 23rd, 2006 between 4:00 a.m. – 6:45 a.m. unknown culprits broke through a locked gate of a property off of Highway #6 south of Dornoch. The property is the office and storage site for AECON UTILITIES, which is a phone utility company.

The culprits entered a locked line truck on the property and stole a variety of equipment associated with telephone line work including nylon slings, pullies, reel spinners, ratchet straps, climbing boots, a pole climbing belt, and spools of telephone wire. A Stihl chainsaw and gas drill and a Honda generator were also stolen.
