Crime Stoppers of Grey Bruce and the Grey County OPP are asking for the public’s assistance in solving the following  crime.

At approximately 4:00 a.m. on Saturday March 11th, 2006 four suspects entered the Bluewater Board of Education property at 55 Victoria Street in Markdale.  Once on the property the suspects maliciously damaged three vehicles that were parked in the facility.  In all cases windows were damaged and in one case the culprits tore off the trunk spoiler of a 2002 Nissan.

Two of the suspects then climbed onto the roof of the building and caused considerable damage to a roof drain-vent which allowed the roof water caused by melting snow to flow into the office building below.  The resulting havoc caused an estimated $20,000.00 worth of damage to the office and its’ contents.

Although police are close to making arrests in this matter they are still appealing to the public for additional information that will assist them in their investigation.

All four suspects were white males approximately 15 years old.  One male was tall with a white upper body coat-sweater and the other had a short stocky build with an odd walk.  The other two males were wearing dark or brown clothing.
