Crime Stoppers of Grey Bruce and the Saugeen Shores Police are asking for the publics’ assistance in solving the following Break Enter and Theft.

 

Sometime during the Labour Day weekend between 9:00 p.m. Sunday and 7:00 a.m. Monday morning thieves forcibly entered the rear door of the Pro Shop at the Chippewa Golf Course situated on Highway 21 east of Southampton.  The thieves rummaged through the main desk area and then located a combination safe that was forced open.  Thieves made off with an undisclosed amount of cash as well as the disk drive for the office computer.

 

The method of operation for this theft is similar to a theft that occurred the same evening at Pinewood Golf Course near Sauble Beach and police suspect that they are related.
