Crime Stoppers of Grey Bruce and the Grey County OPP are asking for the publics’ assistance in solving the following break, enter and theft that occurred in the Village of Markdale.

 

Sometime between November 3^rd and November 7^th 2007 an unknown culprit or culprits forcibly entered a residential home on Margaret Elizabeth Avenue on the north east end of town while the owners were away on vacation.

 

Once inside the home thieves rifled through the house and located a number of valuables the bulk of which was jewelry, cash, and electronics.

 

Some of the more significant stolen items included:

 

• Hewlett Packard Laptop Computer
• Compaq Laptop Computer
• $500.00 in cash
• DVD Player and CD Player
• Significant amount of gold jewelry
• Small amount of alcohol
