Crime Stoppers of Grey Bruce and the Bruce Peninsula OPP are asking for the publics’ assistance in solving the following cases of suspected arson.

 

On the 14th of January 2007 the North Bruce Peninsula Fire Department responded to two separate fires within close proximity on the Bruce Peninsula.  Both fires occurred in unoccupied seasonal structures and both police and fire officials have reason to suspect that the fires were intentionally set.

 

In one incident a house located at the corner of Otter Lake Road and East Road was burned to the ground resulting in property damage of $150,000.00.

 

The other fire occurred at 595 Stokes Bay Road and this seasonal dwelling was totally gutted causing approximately $80,000.00 worth of damage.
