Crime Stoppers of Grey Bruce and the Grey County OPP are requesting the assistance of the community to help solve two suspicious fires that occurred within about 30 minutes from of other in the Township of Chatsworth.

 

The first fire occurred Friday, March 30, 2007  just before 9:00 p.m.  Emergency crews were called to a residence at 418 Crawford Road in the Township of Chatsworth, south of Holland Centre.  When they arrived, they found a family dwelling engulfed in flames.

Approximately 30 minutes later, a second fire broke out at residence on the 4th Concession, in the Township of Chatsworth.  This two-story farmhouse was also totally destroyed by fire.

Police and fire officials called the Office of the Fire Marshall in to assist with the investigations
