Crime Stoppers of Grey Bruce and the Saugeen Shores Police are asking for the publics’ assistance in solving the following theft spree.

 

During the early morning hours of May 2, 2007 a crime spree occurred in the Town of Port Elgin.  In one incident the Country Garden and Recreation Store on Highway 21 was broken into and Six “Echo” chainsaws, one Jonsered chainsaw, two Echo hedge trimmers, a laptop computer and cash were stolen.

 

“Scoreboard Sports Too” was also broken into however the stolen “high-end” hockey sticks and assorted ball caps were found stashed nearby.

A van was stolen from a Waterloo Street address and later recovered and another attempted theft was reported regarding another van.
