Crime Stoppers of Grey Bruce and the Grey County OPP are asking for the publics’ assistance in solving the following break, enter, and theft.

On July 11, 2008 at 12:36 a.m. police responded within minutes to an alarm at the LCBO store in Meaford. Upon arrival at the scene the police noticed that the front door of the store had been smashed open and there were broken liquor bottles in the parking lot. The thieves were able to flee the scene prior to the arrival of the police.

An inventory of the store has revealed that several bottles of liquor were stolen including 60 ounce bottles of Jack Daniels, rye, rum, vodka, and various liqueurs.

Police suspect a vehicle was used in the getaway.
