Crime Stoppers of Grey Bruce and the Saugeen Shores Police are asking for the public’s help in solving the following thefts.

On June 27, 2008 police responded to reports of numerous cars that had been entered in Southampton.  One of the victims had two sets of golf clubs removed from his car and two of the vehicles had GPS systems stolen.  The other vehicles had small amounts of cash and small articles stolen.  Police remind the public that unlocked motor vehicles are prime targets for thieves.  If it’s necessary to leave valuable articles in your car then PLEASE store them away out of sight.  Remember – “LOCK IT OR LOSE IT!”

If you have any information about these crimes then call CRIME STOPPERS at 1-800-222-TIPS OR send a web-tip at crimestop-gb.org.  You won’t be asked to identify yourself, you won’t have to appear in court, and you may be eligible for a cash reward up to $2,000.00.  Crime Stoppers does not subscribe to call display.  Remember - Crime Doesn’t Pay - But Crime Stoppers May!
