Crime Stoppers of Grey Bruce and the South Bruce OPP are asking for the public’s assistance to help solve the following crime involving the discharge of a firearm.

During the early morning hours of June 23, 2008 a 27 year old Tiverton area man was driving southbound on the 30^th Sideroad of Brant Township northwest of Elmwood. The vehicle he was driving was boxed in by two other vehicles, one of which was a black Dodge Dakota. The victim’s vehicle was then rammed into the ditch by the Dakota pick-up which also ended up in the ditch. The victim smashed out the passenger window and fled the scene on foot, and while fleeing he heard a gun shot being discharged. The victim was not injured.
