Crime Stoppers of Grey Bruce, the South Bruce OPP, and the Kincardine Fire Department are asking for information regarding the cause of a suspicious fire in Kincardine.

On Wednesday May 28, 2008 shortly after 4:00 a.m. emergency crews responded to a structure fire at the Kincardine District High School and upon arriving at the scene noticed that a school portable at the southeast side of the school was ablaze.  A storage shed which contained seven lawn mowers had already burned to the ground upon their arrival.

The fire department has determined that the fire was set in a large recycling bin located near the portable.  Early estimates of the damage are around the $20,000.00 mark.
