Crime Stoppers of Grey Bruce and the Grey County OPP are asking for the public’s assistance to help solve the following break, enter and theft.

Sometime between December 21st and December 23rd thieves broke into a seasonal residence situated east of Oxenden in Georgian Bluffs.

 

The thugs stole all of the wrapped gifts from under the Christmas tree and then rifled through several drawers and cupboards and removed approximately $10,000.00 worth of jewellery which included engagement and anniversary rings.

 

Also stolen was a black knee length slicker with the logo “KINAT RACING” on the back of it.  The logo resembles the following:

 

 

Six firearms were stolen including two hinge break 12 gauge shotguns, one made by Fabrica Te Armas Oviedo in 1913, and the other was a model 1800 Belgium made by HJ Sterling.  The other four were 12 gauge pump shotguns namely a CIL model 621, a Savage model 77A, a Savage model 820B, and a Stevens pump action shotgun.
