Crime Stoppers of Grey Bruce and the Grey County OPP are asking for the public’s assistance to help solve the following smash and grab theft.

Sometime just prior to 7:00 p.m. December 28, 2009 an unknown culprit smashed out the side windows of a car that had been parked at the rear of a residence situated on Main Street in the Village of Markdale. The culprit or culprits rummaged through the car and stole approximately 100 assorted compact discs from the vehicle. The car had been parked behind a Main Street address for about two days.
