Sometime between Sunday May
31, 2009 and the late afternoon of Tuesday June 2, 2009 a residence situated on
Highway 26 in the area of the Bayview Hill, just west
of the town of Meaford, was entered by thieves.
The culprit(s) proceeded to
remove furniture and other household articles including a wooden rocking chair,
two wooden tables, (one antique), two lamps, a cabinet with contents, a mirror,
china pieces, silverware, pictures, a Duncan Fife table, a record player, and
an antique Foosball table.
It is apparent that a truck
or trailer would have been required to haul away the stolen goods.
