Crime Stoppers of Grey Bruce and the South Bruce OPP are asking for the public’s assistance to help solve the following break enter and theft.

Sometime between 4:00 p.m. March 6^th and 9:30 a.m. the next day an unknown hooligan or hooligans broke into a residence on Bruce Road 12 in Formosa.

Once inside the residence the thieves located and stole several hundred dollars worth of cash. What’s unique about this theft is the fact that most of the cash was old style bills and coins including one and two dollar bills and several Canadian and American coins.

Police are asking anybody who has been approached by somebody with this older cash to report it to the authorities.
