Crime Stoppers of Grey Bruce and the Saugeen Shores Police Service are asking for the public’s
assistance to help solve the following armed robbery.
On Thursday May 7th
at 10:25
p.m. a lone male suspect
holding a handgun entered the Petro Canada gas bar
located on Goderich Street in the Town of Port Elgin.
The suspect then confronted the store employee and stole cash and other items
from behind the counter of the store. A
metal cash box was also stolen.
Police are looking for a
white male, 6’ in height, thin build, blonde/brown hair, wearing a gray or blue hoodie sweater, dark
pants, and brown footwear. He was also
wearing yellow rubber gloves.
Police request that anyone
locating a cash box or the above described clothing under suspicious
circumstances should avoid touching the items.
