Stoppers of Grey Bruce
and the Owen Sound Police Service are asking for the publics’ assistance in solving
the following robbery.
At approximately
8:55
p.m.
on Saturday November 14,
2009
a female victim was on a break, standing outside of her place of employment in
the 900 block of
Second Avenue East in
Owen Sound.
A male suspect believed to be approximately 16 years of age shoved the
victim from behind against a building and took her work apron which contained a
quantity of money as well as other items. Police patrolling in the downtown
core were flagged down by the victim at which time she identified the suspect.
Police pursued the suspect, however lost sight of him in the 800 block between
Second and Third Avenues
East.
The suspect was described as being approximately 5’9”,
180 pounds, with a deep voice. He was wearing dark clothes and a black bandana
covering his face from the nose down.
