Stoppers of Grey Bruce
and the Bruce Peninsula OPP are asking for the public’s assistance to help
solve the following crime spree.
Sometime between 10:00 p.m. August 31st and 10:00 a.m. September 1st 2009 unknown hooligans stole a boat from the
Chesley Lake
Marina and then proceeded to
Chesley Island where they broke into a cottage.
The thugs stole numerous items including a boat motor, beer, stereo
equipment, and a Sea-Doo, however all of these items, (minus the
beer), were recovered in a wooden area near Lilac Lane.
The thieves then broke into
other cottages and stole a 2 HP Honda and 8 HP Johnson boat motor as well as
two golf carts from the local golf course.
These stolen items remain outstanding.
