Crime Stoppers of Grey Bruce and the Grey County OPP are asking for the public’s assistance to help solve the following break enter and theft.

Police are investigating a break and enter that occurred at a rural secondary residence in the Township of Southgate near the hamlet of Dromore.

 

The property, located in a secluded area of Southgate Road 22 and east of Grey County Road 23, consists of a cabin and several locked sheds.  Sometime on or around the 19th of January 2010, the cabin was entered and ransacked.  The culprit(s) also gained entry into two sheds by cutting the pad locks.

 

A large quantity of items were stolen, including various outer wear camouflage clothing, a Panasonic DVD player, and 75 DVDs, flashlights, and various knives including one Gerber Presentation Knife and two Normark folding knives.

 

Also taken were four jerry cans of gasoline.  They are described as older style with vents in the back with the word “DOBY” on the side.
