Crime Stoppers of Grey Bruce and the Owen Sound Police Service are asking for the public’s assistance to help solve the following theft.

Shortly before 8:30 p.m. on the 6th of January a male walked into an electronics store on 16th Street East, Owen Sound and proceeded directly to a shelf that contained several PlayStation Go Systems.  An employee of the store went to provide assistance and observed the male stash a PSP into his back pack and when he intervened, the male subject motioned as if he had a weapon and proceeded to grab six more PlayStation systems before running out of the store. 

 

Owen Sound Police officers traced tracks to the south end of 18th Avenue East and located the back pack with the stolen property but no suspect.

 

The male suspect is described as being caucasian, in his late teens or early twenties, 5’6” – 5’8” tall with a medium build.  He was wearing a black winter coat, black pants, black gloves and a black balaclava.  He had a hood up over the balaclava and carried a dark coloured back pack.
