Crime Stoppers of Grey Bruce and the Grey County OPP are asking for the public’s help to help solve the following hit and run accident.

 

On July 7, 2010 at around 7:30 a.m. a cyclist was northbound on Grey County Road 17 north of Vault Works Road in Georgian Bluffs when he was struck from behind by a passing motorist.  The force of the collision threw the cyclist off and damaged the bicycle significantly.  The involved vehicle and motorist did not stop at the scene.

 

Police believe the involved vehicle may be a subcompact car, possibly a General Motors or Geo product from the mid to late 1990's.  The vehicle will definitely have some damage to the passenger side.
