Crime Stoppers of Grey Bruce and the Grey County OPP are asking for the public’s help to help solve the following break, enter, and theft.

 

Sometime overnight on the 22^nd to 23^rd of June, 2010 a detached garage at a home on Prince Street in Priceville was forcibly entered and several items were stolen including a bicycle, chainsaw, and two boxes of tools. The total value of the theft is estimated at $2,500.00.  It is believed the stolen goods were loaded into a small truck parked on the street nearby.

 

The stolen bicycle is unusual in that it was a recumbent style, red in colour, made by a now defunct company known as BikeE.  An unusual feature of these bicycles was the frame which consisted of a square aluminum tube to which the crank, seat, and handlebars are mounted.  A photograph and the serial number of the bicycle are on file with the police.
