Crime of The Week – Identity of Cigarette Theft Suspects Sought

Crime Stoppers of Grey Bruce, the Owen Sound Police Service, and Grey County OPP are asking for the public’s help to identify suspects in recent cigarette thefts.

Over the past several weeks police have investigated four separate incidents of break-ins to local convenience stores where cigarettes have been the prime target.  The police were able to obtain surveillance photos of suspects in one of the thefts and are asking the public if they could identify the suspects.

Referring to the four photos shown below, one of the suspects is clearly identifiable and another suspect is wearing a very uniquely designed hoodie.

If you are able to identify the suspects then you can call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS or send a web tip to crimestop-gb.org.  You won’t be asked to identify yourself, you won’t have to appear in court, and you may be eligible for a cash reward up to $2,000.00.
