Crime Stoppers of Grey Bruce and the South Bruce OPP are asking for the public’s assistance in solving the following break, enter and theft in the Town of Walkerton.

Sometime between Friday September 17^th and the early hours of Monday September 20, 2010 an unknown culprit entered a building situated at 14 Victoria Street North in the Town of Walkerton.  This location had just been recently set up as an alternative site school.  Once inside the school the thief located and stole 5 black IBM laptop computers and one silver Toshiba laptop computer.  The value of the stolen computers is $7,500.00.  

If you have any information about who is responsible for this theft or know of anybody selling laptop computers then you can call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS or send a web tip to crimestop-gb.org.  You won’t be asked to identify yourself, you won’t have to appear in court, and you may be eligible for a cash reward up to $2,000.00.
