Crime Stoppers of Grey Bruce is seeking the public’s assistance in solving a disturbing crime in North Bruce Peninsula.

An outdoor enthusiast, who is confined to a wheelchair, received a nice gift from his family when they constructed a special tree stand that would allow him to hunt for deer. Many hours of labour went into its’ construction which included a ramp for access and footings and supports to accommodate the wheelchair.

Sometime between September 18-26, 2010 unknown culprits trespassed onto the victims’ property and deliberately sawed the legs off this special tree stand causing it to topple to the ground. The thugs also cut the specially constructed wheelchair ramp from the rest of the structure.
