Crime Stoppers of Grey Bruce and the Grey County OPP are asking for the public’s assistance in solving the following hideous crime.

Sometime prior to Monday, February 14, 2011 a Grey Highlands man received information that his two Beagle dogs were injured and laying on Concession Road 8 near the Artemesia-Osprey Line which is northwest of Maxwell.

The man took the injured canines to a local veterinary office where they were treated and at that time it was confirmed that the dogs had been hit in the legs by multiple shot gun pellets. One of the dogs died from the injuries sustained and the other may require amputations.
