Crime Stoppers of Grey Bruce is asking for the public’s help in solving the following armed robbery in the village of Markdale.

 

On March 10, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. a male suspect, wearing a balaclava, approached the kiosk at the Shell Gas Bar located in the village of Markdale.  The suspect produced a knife and demanded cash from the lone female attendant.  After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash he fled on foot in an easterly direction in the area of Cavan Street.

 

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 6 feet tall, wearing a brown and white jacket with white piping, and had a black balaclava on.  A two-tone “Columbia” jacket was found abandoned in the vicinity of the crime and is pictured below:
