Typically these illicit crops are located in areas such as swamps, cornfields, wooded areas, and along fences.

 

Marijuana plants are light green in colour with seven jagged fingers and have a skunky aroma and can grow more than 6 feet in height.

 

Common indicators of an outdoor grow include bags of fertilizer and planting trays near trampled and cleared rural areas as well as suspicious abandoned vehicles and people observed near these spots.
