Crime Stoppers of Grey Bruce and the Grey County OPP are asking for the public's assistance to help solve the following break, enter, and theft in the Municipality of Meaford.
Sometime between Sunday May 31, 2009 and the late afternoon of Tuesday June 2, 2009 a residence situated on Highway 26 in the area of the Bayview Hill, just west of the town of Meaford, was entered by thieves.
The culprit(s) proceeded to remove furniture and other household articles including a wooden rocking chair, two wooden tables, (one antique), two lamps, a cabinet with contents, a mirror, china pieces, silverware, pictures, a Duncan Fife table, a record player, and an antique Foosball table.
It is apparent that a truck or trailer would have been required to haul away the stolen goods.
