Crime Stoppers of Grey Bruce and the West Grey Police Service are asking for the public's assistance to help solve the following break enter and theft.
Sometime between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on the 16th of June 2009 thieves entered a property on the 8th Concession of Glenelg Township. Once on the property the thugs broke into a shed and stole numerous items.
The stolen items included a red Suzuki ATV with only 50 kms on it, various tools and a 16" Stihl chainsaw. Unique to this crime was the theft of various horse tack items including three saddles and five harnesses. Police are appealing to people in the horse business to report any suspicious transactions involving these items.
