Crime Stoppers of Grey Bruce and the Grey County OPP are asking for the public's assistance to help solve the following break, enter, and theft in Chatsworth Township.
 
Sometime between Monday July 6, and Saturday July 11, 2009 four cottages located in the area of Bells Lake, which is east of Dornoch off of Chatsworth Township Sideroad 70, were broken into.
 
In the case of one cottage thieve(s) removed a quantity of beer and liquor, but more importantly they stole two firearms, described as a 22 calibre rifle and a 12 gauge shotgun.
 
As a matter of public safety, police are always concerned that stolen firearms may be used in committing other criminal activities.
