Crime Stoppers of Grey-Bruce News

Three residents spread across Grey and Bruce Counties are lucky winners of the Crime Stoppers of Grey Bruce Raffle, drawn on Tuesday September 11, 2018 in Owen Sound.

Janice Currie of Owen Sound (pictured below with Crime Stoppers of Grey Bruce Chairperson Peter Reid) is the first prize winner of a beautiful child’s quilt, donated by the Kincardine Sunset Quilters’ Guild.

Brock Glenn of Chesley (pictured below) is the winner of a voucher for a 15” pizza and garlic fingers, courtesy of Pizza Delight in Port Elgin.

Pauline Dunlop of Huron-Kinloss (pictured on the left, being presented with the Harvey's coupons by Board member Margaret Visser, on the right) is the winner of the four Harvey's hamburgers, courtesy of Harvey's in Port Elgin.

Thanks goes out to everyone who purchased raffle tickets from our volunteers; our volunteers who took the time to sell the tickets; and the Kincardine Sunset Quilters' Guild, Pizza Delight in Port Elgin, and Harvey's in Port Elgin for donating these great prizes!

Crime Stoppers is a community based program that combines the Community, the Media and the Police in a cooperative effort to solve crime in our neighbourhoods.

Proceeds from the draw will be used for costs associated with running the program, including the paying of cash rewards to anonymous Tipsters.
