Crime Stoppers of Grey Bruce and the Hanover Police Service are seeking the public's help following a retail break and enter.
On August 5, 2026 shortly after midnight, a lone male forcibly entered VIP Cannabis, located along 10th Street in Hanover, and removed approximately four to five bags of cannabis products, valued at $800.
Shortly after, the suspect attended the HiTime General Store and Smoke Shop and broke the entrance window before fleeing the scene on a BMX-style bike toward the areas of 7th Avenue and 10th Street, as well as 9th Avenue and 10th Street, between 12:30 a.m. and 1:00 a.m.
The suspect is described as a white male, average to above-average height with a skinny build, and wearing a black T-shirt, pants, balaclava, and gloves; green or gray Crocs-style shoes and carrying a small drawstring bag.
